Begun in 2007, booklit is a blog revolving around books and written enthusiastically by Stewart, a guy from Glasgow, Scotland. His tastes span contemporary, world, and classic fiction, not to mention the occasional bit of non-fiction. That said, you can never rule out other things, so you can probably expect a bit of whatever too.
Initially inspired by the implicit challenge offered by 1,001 Books You Must Read Before You Die, the notion of reading and reviewing those books has developed into a way of highlighting my experiences in the wide and varied world of literature. Having almost immediately meandered from the original path, the mission now is simply to read books, review them, and get involved with others doing the same. Occasionally, there’ll be rants, essays, and debates.
All reviews posted on booklit appear sorted by author’s name on the Review Index and contain a link to that review. Alternatively, the Archive page groups everything by date, category, and tag.
